Accommodation and Travel Information

All hotel and flight bookings are now closed

For your convenience, the following accommodation has been selected as the official Saphila 2007 accommodation and special rates have been obtained. Bookings need to be made through Travel and Tours to obtain these rates. Please complete the form below should you wish to make an accommodation booking. Please note the following:

• All rates below are per person per night, bed and breakfast including VAT and 1% tourism levy.
• All accommodation is booked on a first-come first-served basis, subject to availability.
• A shuttle service will be provided from hotels farther away form the Convention Centre to transport delegates staying at the official conference accommodation at specific times. For security reasons only an evening shuttle from certain hotels will be provided. Please see shuttle arrangement next to each hotel.
• A shuttle timetable will be available at the conference venue.
• Delegates staying in unofficial conference accommodation will need to provide their own transport.

Terms and Conditions

• Due to the conference falling during peak season, accommodation is limited and we recommend you book and make payment as soon as possible to confirm your reservation and prevent release of your booking.
• Accommodation booked must be pre-paid in full by the date indicated on confirmation. ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS WILL CLOSE ON 01 OCTOBER 2007. Thereafter individual requests my be place for possible cancellations.
• No accommodation can be confirmed or guaranteed without full payment.
• Check-in is at 14:00 and check-out at 10:00.

Cancellations

• Cancellations made before 01 September 2007 : 50% charge on first night's accommodation.
• Cancellations made after 01 Septemeber 2007: 100% charge on first night's accommodation.
• Cancellations made after 01 October 2007: 100% charge on the entire stay. (unless reservation can be re-sold by us, in which case 50% on first night's accommodation will be charged)

Flight Information

For your convenience, Travel and Tours can assist with all flight arrangements. Group reservation have been made for various times and dates form Johannesburg to Cape Town. Individual flight reservations will be made from other cities and for individual flight time requirements from Johannesburg. Flights and prices are subject to availability. You will be informed with confirmation of reservation whether you flights are a group or individual reservation.

• All individual bookings are subject to full payment 72 hours from reservation confirmation and are subject to penalties imposed by the respective airline. These penalties will be stated with confirmation of reservation.
• Group flights booked must be pre-paid in full by 02 September 2007 Please note that after this date all group reservation are subject to 100% cancellation penalty. No name substitution is possible
• No flight can be confirmed or guaranteed without full payment.

Group Reservations

The following group reservations have been made with SAA on the Johannesburg - Cape Town Route. Please note that the outgoing and the return flights cannot be "mixed and matched". If you select the date and time listed on the outbound leg you MUST return on the listed flight for the returned leg. The return economy class fare including all charges is today R1490.00 (airport taxes and fuel surcharge portion may change at the time of confirmation):
